When cloning an ECU or reading immobilizer data, power loss, cable unplugging or ignition shutdown will permanently damage vehicle control modules and cause irreparable faults.

Connect an external regulated power supply when working. Do NOT perform any programming tasks if the battery voltage is lower than 12V.

New operators are forbidden to click "immobilizer initialization/module full erase" blindly. Missing backup data will lead to vehicle no-start.

How to Connect Launch Prog5 with PC and Launch Tablets/VCI?
Note:
This does not refer to activating the anti-theft function on the G5 itself, but rather to activating the IMMO software on the X-431 tablet device.
The PC-based version of the software supports only ECU and transmission cloning functions.
When paired with an X431 tablet, it supports ECU cloning and IMMO (immobilizer) programming.
This device is designed for use with the following tablets：
Compatible with models such as X431 PRO5, PAD7, PAD5, PAD V (PAD V ELITE), PAD VII ELITE, LAUNCH X431 PRO3 V+ 5.0 Elite (same as PRO3S+ Elite), and Launch X431 Pro5 Smartlink. (For instance, the IMMO Plus model supports IMMO functions without requiring a separate license activation; however, for the X431 PRO5, PAD7, and PAD5 series tablets, an IMMO license must be purchased if one is not already included.)
