Hexprog II vs. Hexprog
Hexprog II is a specialized tool optimized for ECU repair and chip tuning, offering unmatched performance and full support for all ECU/TCU protocols and connections. In contrast, Hexprog is a versatile multi-function device that enables reading and writing of Immo modules like CAS and BCM, along with Key and EEPROM reset features. On Bench Chip Tuning/Ecu Cloning
Hexprog II enables effortless reading and writing of P-Flash, D-Flash, External Flash, and EEPROM, with automatic checksum correction for enhanced convenience. Two access methods are provided:
Bench Mode: for direct access without opening the ECU casing via power and signal wires;
Boot Mode: which requires internal access to the board for unresponsive ECUs.
BMW ISN reading
Hexprog II integrates advanced ISN management, a key feature inherited from Autohex II, enabling the reading of complete long ISNs from all BMW ECUs—including the latest Bosch MG1/MD1 DME/DDE units from 2005 to present. This ensures full compatibility, accuracy, and efficient handling of modern BMW vehicle ECUs.
