Why use MB Star C4 and Enet Cable on the same laptop?

MB Star C4 works for all old cars, such as W213, W167, W257, and W222. while Enet cable is the best diagnostic tool to enter DOIP protocol, it works for new cars, such as W223, W206, W213 New, W214, and W295.  Some people who don't want to change their laptop or have less budget will consider using the c4 and ENET cable on the same laptop.

 

How to configure the ENET cable to work for W223 W206 and new cars?

What error you will get if not change C4 IP address?

2.Click Network and Internet

3.Click Network and Sharing Center

4.Change Adapter Setting

5.Click Properties

6.Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ IPv4)

If you use ENET Cable to diagnose, program or code new cars, the IP address is defaulted as "obtain an IP address automatically " and "obtain DNS Server address automatically "
